Seattle Works Alumni Day Hosted by Stanford
and Yale
SATURDAY MAY 20, 2006
Join the alumni team at our spring
service event!
Last year we had a great team of about 30 people and will likely have more
this year. Seattle Works informs, connects and inspires people in their 20s
and 30s to take action in our community. Every year, Seattle Works Day brings
together thousands of volunteers to do work projects across the city. Service
projects take place 10am to 2pm, followed by a party at South Lake Union Park
2:30pm to 5:30pm.
Participants serve in nonprofits,
parks, schools and green spaces, and generally perform tasks
like gardening, painting, cleaning, habitat restoration and sorting
donations. Join your fellow alums, friends, family and other
people committed to public service! (The fine print: For liability
reasons, finding projects for team members under the age of 18
can be a challenge. If you'd like to bring people under 18, please
email Maria Crossman at maria@seattleworks.org.)
SATURDAY MAY 20, 2006 10:00am
on Location sent out by email after RSVP and after project assignment
$25 (This includes participation on our team, event t-shirt, and afterparty
with food. All proceeds benefit Seattle Works.)
QUESTIONS: Spencer Looney at svlooney@yahoo.com,
Sarah Dunne at sad@hcmp.com.
