    Overview

Which wines do everyday Americans really like?  How do tastes vary between Yankees and Southerners, men and women, novices & industry experts?  Fresh from the successful publication of The Fearless Critic Austin Restaurant Guide (www.fearlesscritic.com), Yale Law grad Robin Goldstein is now mid-way through creation of The People’s Wine Guide, a study of wine preferences based on thousands of tasters’ experiences with hundreds of wines.  As Robin collects data from blind tastings, these are forwarded to a Yale statistics professor for analysis, with startling results.  The Yale Club of Houston now has a chance to contribute to the effort!  Join old friends & new as we kick off our 2007 – 2008 season with a wine tasting graciously hosted by Carol & Andy Vickery.
