Join members of the Yale community for a morning of sorting and repackaging food at the Food Bank in the Volunteer Room. The Three Square Food Bank serves over 230 Agency Partners and is Southern Nevada’s only food bank providing food assistance to the residents of Lincoln, Nye, Esmeralda and Clark Counties.
The Yale Club of Nevada has partnered with Three Square, the local food bank, for this year’s Yale Day of Service. Volunteers will help sort, check and box donated food to be distributed to families in need.

Last year, over 3,500 Yale alumni and friends came together to work side-by-side in service all over the world. At more than 245 sites in 42 states and 20 countries, members of the Yale community embodied the University’s great tradition of service in giving back. Local communities were changed by the Yale alumni who live and work there.

Three Square is the valley’s food hub; a central location where donated and rescued food can be collected and distributed. The project provides bakery, produce, dairy, non-perishable products and ready-to-eat meals to non-profit and faith-based organizations.
