To celebrate their 2nd century of song, the Whiffs plan their first public concert in Las Vegas in recent memory as part of their world tour. The afternoon will feature a cappella arrangements of jazz standards, classic ballads, traditional Yale songs and recent popular hits.
January 2009 marked the 100th birthday of the Yale Whiffenpoofs – the world’s oldest collegiate a cappella singing group. The founding of the Whiffenpoofs began what evolved into an American music phenomenon of over 1,500 student a cappella groups nationwide today.
