YAANW Book Award Program: 2010
Each spring, YAANW presents a Yale book award to high school juniors nominated by their principals or counselors for outstanding character and intellectual promise. Last year, we delivered more than 65 books to students in the Twin Cities area and other parts of Minnesota and Wisconsin. There are three great ways to support the program.
Fund a Yale Book Award with a $50 donation. This is a great way to maintain a relationship with two of your favorite institutions - Yale and your high school alma mater! And, it will help raise the visibility of Yale at your local high school by funding a Yale book award.
Fund a Yale Book Award at your favorite high school through 2014 with a $250 donation.
Deliver/Present a Yale Book Award in April/June. Present the Yale Book Award at awards ceremonies or at other school functions. You will deliver the book award, a prospectus for Yale College and a cover letter to the student. You will be provided with a short script for the presentation.
