EventsThe Game: Saturday, November 21, 2009The Yale Club of Chicago in conjunction with the Harvard Club of Chicago invites you and your friends to be part of the live broadcast action as the Bulldogs take on the Harvard Crimson! Event takes place at Piece, a multi-screen sports venue, featuring famous New Haven-style gourmet pizza, unique microbrews, along with sandwiches, wine and soda, all included in the price of the ticket! Plus our famous free raffle of Yale Bookstore shirts, hats, mugs and more! This is a fabulous family event and great way to continue the storied tradition of Yale football for fans of all ages!!! Let's have another record turnout and celebrate a win for Coach Williams!!! Piece is located at 1927 West North Avenue, near Damen. Doors open at 10:30. Game time at 11:30. Valet parking is available; CTA bus #72 (North Avenue) and Blue Line (Damen) stop nearby. Prepaid ticket prices are $35 for Yale Club members, $25 for recent grads (college and grad school classes of '04 - '09), and $20 for future Yalies and other minors. Cost for nonmembers and all walk-ins paying at the door is $45. Mail your reservation form with your check or credit card information by Monday, November 16th. For late reservations, call the club at 847-256-5800, ext. 0. Tickets will be held at the door, but will be $45.00 if not prepaid. Save the Date! December 2 Head Coach Tom Williams Comes to ChicagoJoin first year Head Coach Tom Williams in Chicago on Wednesday, December 2, to talk Yale football--and dissect our anticipated win over Harvard. More details to follow soon! Save the Dates! Yale Hockey in Wisconsin--January 2 and 3, 2010Please mark your calendar to cheer on the Bulldogs in a rare Midwest appearance! On Saturday and Sunday, January 2- 3, the Yale men's hockey team will play in the Badger Hockey Showdown tournament at Madison in the Kohl Center. The team is scheduled to play at 4 pm on Saturday against Ferris State and on Sunday afternoon or evening against an opponent to be determined, depending upon the outcome of Saturday's contest. Save the Date! Yale Day of Service--Saturday, May 15, 2010Save the date for the second annual Yale Day of Service, to be held on Saturday, May 15, 2010. Last May more than 3,500 Yale alumni, families, and friends participated in the first global Yale Day of Service. In over 180 sites in 37 states and 12 countries, Yale volunteers made a difference in their communities by serving in soup kitchens, tutoring school children, cleaning up parks, building homes and more.
