Book Drive for the Elihu Yale Elementary School Comes to Successful Conclusion!
All books requested via the Elihu Yale Elementary School Book Drive have been purchased! Through the generosity of local alumni and matching gift programs such as that of The Kraft Foods Foundation, the K-8th grade children at this Englewood neighborhood Chicago Public School will enjoy a wonderful variety of new reading materials. These educational volumes, purchased at a discounted rate from Usborne Books & More, will energize the students' learning, capture their interest and provide the school's teachers with increased flexibility. In partnership with our area alumni, the Yale Club of Chicago community service team is pleased to engage in enhancing the lives of the people of our local community.
