The Yale Club of Hong Kong is a volunteer organization that depends on the continued support of its members in the form of annual dues to finance its operations. The Club has more than 500 Yale alumni and affiliates on its mailing list with whom it communicates on a regular basis.

Being a part of the Club helps you network with friends old and new while enjoying an active schedule of social, educational, cultural and recreational events throughout the year. The Club circulates a newsletter, usually on a weekly basis, to let you know what events have been planned for you and to keep you updated on other items of interest.

Becoming a YCHK member

While any form of participation is welcome, YCHK members enjoy discounted admission as well as priority access to special events. Recent special events include talks given by Jonathan Spence, Stephen Roach and former US Ambassador and Yale College graduate, Clark T. Randt Jr, as well as a single-malt whiskey tasting event.

There are three categories of membership:

1.        Recent graduate membership (classes 2009, 20010 and 2011): HK$250 per year

2.        Standard annual membership: HK$450 per year

3.        Lifetime membership: HK$5,000 per year

If you would like to become a YCHK member, or if you have not yet paid your dues this year, you may post your cheque to “The Yale Club of Hong Kong”, GPO Box 10246, Hong Kong . Alternatively, you can transfer funds electronically or by telephone-banking to YCHK’s HSBC account no. 808-181309-292, in which case, please email our Treasurer, Renu Bhatia, to notify her of such transfer. Please feel free to email Renu with any questions regarding membership and payment.
