More than 50 members, family and friends relaxed in the sun
and ate burgers and hot dogs at our free Member Picnic July 12.
Host Terry Buchanan and his wife Fran generously invited us to
their spectacular hilltop home with panoramic views of the
mountains, Glendale, and downtown. Thanks to Terry, Fran and all
those who attended. Here are some of our picnic pool pics.
Terry and Fran did a great job decorating, even
hanging up Terry's Yale banner with authentic moth holes
This couple just moved to LA a week ago from Morocco, signed up
to become a Yale club member on our web site, and BAM, having fun
at our member picnic already!
Sharon's friend (in purple) was just visiting LA from out of
town, and took a break in her tourist schedule to stop by the
picnic!

Master chef Chris mans the grill. Once we got
the grill going, the hot dogs, burgers, and barbeque chicken kept
a-coming.
