There are 2 easy ways to join: Purchase membership online to buy membership immediately with Paypal.  We've added a new Membership Management feature to this site that lets you create a personal profile with log in and password so you can update your name/address/email info at any time!! You can print out the membership form, which should open in a new window. Print the form, fill it out, and mail it to the specified address on the form. If you have any questions, contact our Membership Secretary Parag at ppatel@everestlaw.com Member Benefits Event news: Members are automatically added to our events e-newsletter.  This biweekly email gives you the latest news on all of our upcoming events, including general interest and subgroup events, including Yale in Hollywood, Young Alum, Yale in Business, Community Service, Sports Adventure, etc.  Members also receive occasional postcard "snail mailings" with event listings. Annual Newsletter: Members will receive our annual Newsletter each summer.  Member Discounts: Members receive special member discounts on many of our paid events Members-Only Events:  Members are invited to a few Members-Only events each year.  In past years, our Members-Only events have included the Members-Only Picnic, and invitation to a Henry Winkler chat. Advance Notice: Members receive advance notice of special limited-seat events, such as opera and concerts where we purchase a limited number of seats in advance. Posting to Club Web Site: Members can post information about their book talks, art shows, or play performances to our Web site - email info@yalela.org with event details. Lastly, a chance to return some long ago favors: Do you remember when you were applying to Yale, and some kind area alumni took the time to 1) interview you, and 2) helped you prepare to attend? Later, after graduating, you may have contacted other volunteer alumni for invaluable job information. Obviously, those resources were not "just there" - someone took the time to help. There are both current and prospective Yalies who could use your feedback - can you spend a few minutes each month to help? What are membership funds used for? Wwhy does the Club charge dues? The Yale Club of Southern California does not receive any funds or financial support from Yale.  All of our activities are entirely organized - and funded locally.  Your dues help pay for:  - Administrative costs, such as Web site administration, mailing postage, brochures, etc.  - Member Events - periodic free Member events are paid for with dues  - Summer Fellow - the Club pays a stipend to the annual summer fellow  - Book Award - the Club pays for the annual book award, given out to dozens of top seniors at local schools as a gift from Yale, and to encourage applications to Yale We appreciate your Club support!   Don't delay - Join Now!
