Cry Wolf creators share thrills
of making teen thriller

August 22, 2005

HOLLYWOOD HILLS - Yalies Beau Bauman and Seth Gordon gave the inside scoop on making the upcoming thriller Cry Wolf, (release date Sept 16, 2005) at a Yale in Hollywood chat.

Bauman is both the producer and co-writer of the film, with co-writer and director Jeff Wadlow. Gordon is the duo's third key creative collaborator. The film, formerly titled "Living the Lie" is the end-result of Wadlow's winning the Chrysler Million Dollar Film Festival. Bauman recently spoke on a panel at the San Diego Comic-Con earlier
this summer.

Beau and Seth talked about the process of making the movie, in an excellent discussion the whole range of film development, from writing the script all the way to branded entertainment and web games.  They discussed: developing the script with input from Universal, to casting actors that actually looked like they were in high school (and casting Jon Bon Jovi!), to getting AOL sponsorship in the movie, to creating a web site with online IM game to attract the teen target demo.

Thanks to Beau and Seth for sharing with us!
