The topic is especially relevant in an election year with two Yalies running for President, and with Arnold Schwarzeneggar as California's governor.  More than 125 attendees packed the room and participated in the lively discussion.

Our distinguished panel included:

  • Jehmu Greene -President of Rock the Vote
  • Jennifer Hodges - California Grass Roots for Kerry
  • Patrick Goldstein - The Big Picture columnist, LA Times
  • Billie Greer - Director, Los Angeles Office, Office of Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger
  • John Romano '75 PhD - writer/producer/editor Hill Street Blues, Party of Five, LA Law
  • Leo Braudy '64 MA '67 PhD (moderator)  USC Bing Professor of English
