We had a very successful symposium on May 20 at Lincoln-Bassett in the morning and at the Law School in the afternoon with a large number of Music Educators from New Haven.
- 1. Morning activities at Lincoln-Bassett with the school's usual gracious hospitality, students were on hand to usher us into the right room.
- 2. Lunch was at Lincoln-Bassett.
- 3. The afternoon Symposium in the Law School Auditorium, started at 2:00.
- 4. The Symposium was sponsored by the Yale School of Music and our Class Project, in collaboration with Dr. Reginald Mayo, Superintendent of New Haven Public Schools, and the New Haven Public Schools' Music Department. It featured Dr. Clifford Madsen, the Robert Q. Lawton Distinguished Professor in the Center for Music Research at Florida State University.
