This site is the home of information about the Yale Class of 1957
and the center of communication among its members.
Intended as a vehicle for information about members and activities
of the class, a place where classmates can offer evidence and news of
their own thoughts and creations, and the location of the class's
history, the site is designed for easy access and pleasurable viewing.
Always a work in progress, its chief purpose is to be of service to
members of the class.
New information (such as new class notes slated for upcoming issues
of the Yale Alumni Magazine, reports of recent class activities, and
obituaries) is regularly added to the site, and old information can be
revised. The class directory is updated each quarter, and the
necrology is kept up to date. The site's newest feature is a classmate
musings section in which classmates may post reports of themselves
(with photos), offer their opinions on matters of their choice, or
provide other appropriate information.
Everyone who visits this site is beckoned inside. All proposals
for its contents and adjustment will carefully be considered. We men
of the 1950s may not be among those who develop technology and
communications, but surely we can employ it for our own needs and
pleasures. Enter, use, learn, and enjoy what's here.
